In 1843, there were 139 enslaved people living on the Bratton plantation.
Join our interpreters as they explore the history and contributions the enslaved made to the Carolina Piedmont and to the plantation. We will feature a 19th century cooking demonstration, black-smithing, the operation of the cotton gin and guided site tours.
