What does it take to get cotton from the field and made into a wearable garment? Lots of hard work on an antebellum cotton plantation! Come and lend a hand with costumed interpreters as they pick, gin, dye and spin (using 1840s technology) the fluffy fiber into the cotton garments that we all know and love to wear.
Regular admission fees apply. CHM members admitted free of charge.
