Piedmont Pottery & Pickin’ is for lovers of live music and local handmade pottery. Festivities take place on the sweeping grounds of Historic Brattonsville’s Hightower Hall, the grand Italianate house at the northern entrance of the main site. The annual event features over 25 traditional and contemporary potters from all around the Carolinas.
Peruse a variety of original artwork (for sale) while local pickers share their tunes. Musicians include the Tri-County Bluegrass Band.

At the main site (1444 Brattonsville Road), historically-dressed interpreters will demonstrate the use of pottery in the Carolina Piedmont during the 19th century.
