McCelvey Center’s Lowry Theater – Kick Off Event for McCelvey’s 2015 Southern Sound Series

Culture & Heritage Museums (CHM) will be presenting a kick-off event announcing the musical line-up for the McCelvey’s 2015 Southern Sound Series. The event, sponsored in part by the Arts Council of York County and the Garden Cafe of York, will include “Drink Small,” a legendary South Carolina Blues player as the featured performance.
The Kick-off is a free, public-invited event that will offer breaking news, photo opportunities, and electronic press kits for the news media. The kick-off will commence at 1:30 PM with a 30-minute concert by Drink Small. Following the opening concert, a 20-minute program will be presented by CHM staff announcing the musical line-up for the 2015 Southern Sound Series. After the announcement, Drink Small will perform another 30-minute set while guests partake from a spread of desserts and refreshments provided by one of York’s best and locally owned restaurants – The Garden Café. Season tickets to the 2015 Southern Sound Series will be available for purchase at a 10% discount.
